The Child Welfare Committee is hereby bringing to your kind reference that, a victim child Divya, aged 16 years, D/o Ram babu, belong to Kovvada Village, Kakinada rural Mandal of East Godavari Dist has been rescued by CHILDLINE 1098 of Vijayawada on dated 8^th July 14 at Railway station and have produced before CWC of Krishna District under Sec 32 (1) (iii) of JJ Act, 2000 amend 2006.

The CWC of Krishna District has transferred the said rescued girl on dated 8^th July 2014 to The CWC of Prakasam Dist for safe custody and trauma counseling along with rehabilitation services as there is no availability and accessibility of proper transit center in Krishna Dist. Hence, the CWC of Prakasam Dist has referred the girl dated 9^th July 2014 to Asha Sadan transit center which is recognized by the Dept of Women and Child Development, Govt of Andhra Pradesh as a fit institution. In Asha Sadan, the said girl has been facilitated with all basic needs, counseling and skill trainings.

The Investigation Officer/Station House Officer of Indra Palem Police Station of East Godavari district has submitted a request letter with Ref No: Cr No:127/2011  Dated 6^th Sep 14 to take over the said victim girl for producing her before Hon’ble Magistrate of 1^st Addl Asst Sessions Judge Court, Kakinada, E G Dist for her deposition in a case with Crime No above filed in Indra Palem PS of East Godavari Dist. Hence, the CWC of Prakasam Dist is hereby handed over the said child victim of sexual abuse to the staff of Indra Palem police station assigned by concerned station house officer who has submitted request letter to handover the girl from CWC.

In this above context, the CWC is hereby informing you that, the grandmother of victim girl is requesting to place her granddaughter in any of the shelter home in East Godavari Dist so that she would have accessibility as and when she required to meet her granddaughter. Hence, it is hereby urged that, keep the victim girl in any of the fit institution in East Godavari district till crossing her age of 18 years in view of her care and protection and safe shelter as well.
