As you know very well that the Child Welfare Committee is also a court for the disposal of the
cases of children below 18 years which is established by the Govt. of India under Sec 29(5) of Juvenile Justice (Care &
Protection of Children) Act 2000, amend 2006. And this is to inform you
that all the members in this committee are said to be a bench of magistrates
with the powers of First Class Judicial
Magistrates. Further, you know very well that, the committee has been
empowered with the powers to facilitate the children in need of Care and
Protection in terms of their development, care, treatment and rehabilitation under
Sec 31 (2) of JJ Act 2000 r/w 2006.
This is in reference with the
request submitted by Mr. Raja Sekhar with regard to his daughter Hepsiba’s
severe health problem who is aged about 5 years belongs to Boduppal of
Hyderabad. It is revealed that the girl has fall down and got an injury to her
head led to communicable hydrocephalus (Traumatic) and hence underwent a
surgery in KIMS hospital at Minister’s road in the year 2013. Unfortunately,
now the girl again got infection in the place where she got surgery and again
needed to get VP Shunt replacement which require at least 2 Lakhs for the
surgery or otherwise she would be in a dangerous condition and leads to fatal
to any further extent without surgery.
In this context, the Child
Welfare Committee of Rangareddy District is hereby request your extreme support
under humanitarian grounds to please look in to the issue of the above said child
who is in need of essential and emergency health care support service either
referring to a Govt. Hospital which is equipped with appropriate medical
facilities and treatment by deserved doctors.
